West Yorkshire Primary Care Workforce and Training Hub are holding a range of free virtual BITESIZE sessions.
This session is available for clinical staff who may be involved in the interpreting of spirometry reports. – This session is appropriate for the technician and the interpreter.
This session does not replace the official ARTP level courses or qualifications and is to be used as a refresher session.
Session includes:
- A look at several case studies and working through the reports and discussing how to interpret these
- What is obstruction
- What is restriction
- Reversibility criteria
- Asthma diagnosis
- When to play it safe before applying the COPD code
- COPD gradings
Please ensure that, when booking via MedTribe, the applicant completes the booking using their own personal profile. The account used to log in and make the booking must belong to the individual who will be attending the course.
This is necessary because MedTribe automatically generates a post-course survey and issues the completion certificate to the account used for the booking.
