Non Medical Prescribing: Prescribing & Transgender Health
Join Laura Garner, Senior Clinical Nurse Specialist/Lead Nurse as we look at Gender and Terminology basics – Principles of transgender healthcare and diagnosis, Transition treatment pathway – prescribing and support and Surgical aspects of transition and post-surgical support. We will also be looking at patient feedback around accessing primary care and the wider related health issues to be aware of in managing medicines and additional awareness in wider prescribing and disease management in the transgender population. There will be plenty of time allowed for Q+A during this session.
