Speaker provided by GSK: Michelle Falconer – Independent Immunisation Nurse Consultant

Michelle Falconer MPH, BN (Hons), RN, DN Cert, Queen’s Nurse, has over 25 years extensive experience in vaccination and immunisation at a local level (Immunisation Coordinator), and at a national level. This includes working in a specialist improvement role at the Department of Health, a Clinical Nurse Specialist (UKHSA national immunisation team), and Nurse Consultant in Vaccination and Immunisation at Public Health Scotland where she was also the professional lead for nursing. Michelle’s experience includes clinical practice, strategy and policy development/implementation, training and education including university post graduate teaching and vaccine research. She now works as an independent Nurse Consultant.
