Course information
Asthma continues to be the most common long-term medical condition and has a significant impact on the lives of children, young people and their families. In recent years, the breadth and depth of evidence around asthma management have expanded rapidly, and updated national guidelines have followed as a result. However, as guidelines are not always easy to implement, gaps in care that increase clinical risk are created. The role of up-to-date healthcare professionals in bridging these gaps is pivotal in advocating for and delivering high-quality asthma care.
The focus of this course is to provide an update on clinical management and current issues in asthma for healthcare professionals already delivering asthma care to children.
