Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA) Monitoring Webinar

Open to all clinicians in Humber & North Yorkshire General Practices.

This session will cover the broad topic of PSA monitoring in primary care relating to the Locally Enhanced Services specification, including which patients would be eligible for community follow up and the monitoring requirements suggested for primary care. We will also cover the rationale for monitoring and community follow up, with a consideration of the evidence base and NICE guidelines. Included will be a small section on the practical elements of the PSA monitoring interface and the suggested pathway for patients for referrals both into Primary Care and back to Secondary care, as well as worked examples of typical situations encountered within PSA monitoring.
