General Practice Assistant Programme - Open for Application

Great news! NHSE have funded 156 places for the 2025/26 GPA programme and applications are now open📢
There’s a new process in place this year! Ad-hoc applications can now be submitted at any time throughout the year.
Successful applicants will be enrolled immediately, with the aim of starting the programme on the 1st of the following month. Final closing date for this programme is 31st March 2026 and all applicants will need to be enrolled before this date.
Please note that there is now an accredited admin option available to learners, should you want to progress via this route rather than the clinical route. You can apply following the same process. Please find details in the FAQ document below.
