GP Champion Opportunity - Hepatitis C Elimination Programme

We are advertising for sessional work within our Hepatitis C network as a GP Champion. The post is for 2 days/4 sessions a month on a 12-month fixed-term basis with the potential for a further 12-month extension (depending on funding). This will be mainly remote working, but may have the requirement to attend meetings at sites across the locality catchment area in East Riding of Yorkshire, North Lincolnshire, Northeast Lincolnshire and North Yorkshire as necessary. The GP Champion role will take a proactive approach in Hepatitis C case finding in the primary care population, as well as clinical education of colleagues and supporting patient linkage to care. The successful candidate will lead on operational and clinical conversations with other GPs alongside the Hepatitis C network. The role will include working collaboratively with local practices, requiring strong facilitation and influencing skills.  Whilst there is no formal closing date, the network is looking to fill this post ASAP.
