About PCARN:

We are a dedicated collective of local colleagues, representing diverse ethnic backgrounds and accompanied by steadfast allies. Our shared commitment is to foster an inclusive and equitable primary care system for all. We firmly believe that every individual deserves unobstructed access to top-tier healthcare, and we are wholeheartedly devoted to ensuring that all our minoritized NHS colleagues receive the utmost support, enabling them to perform at their very best.

Why Become a Co-Chair?

As a Co-Chair of PCARN, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving our mission forward. You’ll collaborate with a passionate team of individuals who share your commitment to EDI work. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Co-leading PCARN meetings and initiatives.
  • Working closely with healthcare professionals and NHS leaders to advocate for racial equity in primary care.
  • Developing and implementing strategies to combat racism and promote inclusivity in healthcare.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A GP or allied health professional actively working in primary care.
  • Enthusiasm and a strong commitment to Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • A collaborative and open-minded approach to tackling complex issues.
  • A passion for making a difference in the healthcare landscape.

Am I paid?

Please note that this is a voluntary role, and it is not a paid position. Co-chairing this network is done on your own time and commitment.
