NMC Standards for Student Supervision & Assessment
The NMC Standards for student supervision and assessment have been in effect since 28th January 2019. They set out the expectations for the learning, support and supervision of students in the practice environment. They also set out how students are assessed for theory and practice learning.
These should be read alongside the Standards for pre-registration nursing programmes and the Standards of proficiency for registered nurses.
