Join the Rural and Coastal Community of Practice (COP) for Advanced Practitioners

The NEY Regional Faculty of Advanced Practice are excited to announce their new free online Rural and Coastal Community of Practice (COP) for Advanced Practitioners. This initiative has been developed by the NHSE Faculty of Advancing Practice together with a dedicated working group of colleagues from across the region, ensuring it reflects the real experiences and priorities of those working in these unique settings.

Their purpose is to create a vibrant, supportive space where Advanced Practitioners In the North East and Yorkshire can connect, share expertise, explore rural‑ and coastal‑specific clinical challenges, and strengthen professional networks.

COP Launch

Date: Wednesday 18th March 2026

Time: 12:00 – 1:00pm

Venue: Online

The first session will introduce the community, outline our aims, and provide an opportunity for colleagues to connect. Following the launch, they have collaborated with the ECHO Project to deliver a series of expert‑guided sessions.

Please register using the links below. Please note that you must register for both the Community of Practice and the ECHO sessions separately in order to take part.

Whether you are experienced in Advanced Practice or early in your journey, this community is for you. Your insight, enthusiasm, and lived experience will be central to building a strong, collaborative network that supports practitioners and improves outcomes for rural and coastal populations.
