Trainee, Student, Learner and Medical Graduate engagement opportunity - EDI Improvement Plan for Primary Care

Shared on behalf of NHSE

The NHS England Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) Policy team are looking to develop a bespoke EDI Improvement Plan for Primary Care.

They have organised an online session on 10 October at 1pm-3pm, to specifically engage with medical graduates, trainees, learners, and students in primary care.

Registration details about the event are available here

During this session, which will be facilitated by NHS Elect, they will:

  • Explore the current High Impact Actions and consider how they could be tailored for primary care
  • Explore what people would like to see from an EDI Improvement Plan for primary care
  • Consider how to monitor progress against delivery
  • Invite people to share examples of best practice already taking place within their respective organisations

The aim is to publish a final, co-designed EDI Improvement Plan for Primary Care in September 2025.
