Funded CPD Courses for Humber and North Yorkshire

Many thanks to all PCNs and practices who came back to us throughout August with details of the training you would like to be able to access for your CPD eligible members of staff.

It’s been fantastic to see such a phenomenal amount of helpful information returned.

In order to maximise use of funding and improve accessibility of training, the process for accessing CPD funding has been a little different in 2023/24 to previous years. We asked PCNs to let us know what training is needed so that courses can be identified, within the funding envelope, to be available for all eligible staff to access. We’ve analysed all of the data received and arranged provision of funded courses within the available funding, reflecting the information indicated by your requests. Indicating preferences has helped identify demand and enabled planning to best utilise limited funding, taking PCN requests into account and offering fair share access. We’ve aimed to source as much CPD funded training as possible based on what you have told us is needed. Thank you for your support and patience as part of this process.

We’re delighted to now be able to share details of the CPD funded training available for eligible individuals (nurses, nursing associates, and allied health professionals) in general practice in Humber and North Yorkshire. Please see document with full details of available funded training and some FAQs. Details can also be found on the website here.

Please share across your teams and networks.

This has been a new process and we would also value your feedback on whether the offers available meet your needs and how it could be improved for future years. There is a link to a short survey included in the document, we would be glad to hear your thoughts!

If you have any queries or would like to discuss anything please don’t hesitate to get in touch, we’re happy to help or arrange a chat if useful: training@haxbygroup.co.uk
