We offer support for West Yorkshire general practices to become placement providers for undergraduate pharmacy students. Our driving aim is to increase access to general practice placements for pharmacy students, to promote practice pharmacy as a career and help secure the primary care pharmacy workforce of the future.
Providing placements for pharmacy students is a great recruitment tool and professional development opportunity for staff. Practices receive a NHS England tariff payment to support time for supervision and coordination.
When is it available?
Ongoing – student placements take place throughout the year and you can start getting involved at any time.
