Applications now open: NEY Leadership Academy - System Collaborative Programme
Shared on behalf of the North East & Yorkshire Leadership Academy (NEYLA)
NEYLA are pleased to share that the Systems Collaborative Programme is now open for applications, and would be grateful if you could share this opportunity with relevant colleagues within your ICS and networks.
Commencing in December 2024, the programme is aimed at collaboratives – groups of 3-7 members working together to lead initiatives that improve health outcomes for your staff, population and community. Collaboratives can be multidisciplinary, cross-organisational, or cross-agency and programme is open to anyone working within the health and care system, regardless of grade, profession and employer.
The key benefit of the programme is that it offers experiential learning while working on an improvement in real time, through a mixture of group learning sessions and ring-fenced time for collaboratives to work on their project with an experienced organisational development facilitator, and has previously resulted in tangible outcomes that improve population health and tackle inequalities by developing collaborative leadership skills and building trust across organisational boundaries.
Past projects have included the development of workforce and primary care pharmacy strategies, Eden Together (a health outreach hub) and the establishment of integrated neighbourhood teams.
A briefing session is taking place at 9am on 17 October for those interested in learning more about the programme. Led by our programme faculty, this session offers potential participants the opportunity to find out more about the programme, ask questions and check that it is the right development for them. Applications are now open and close on 1 November 2024.
Please find the programme information pack here, which includes information on the programme, briefing session and applications process. This information can also be found on our website.
We would really appreciate if you could share this information within your networks, thank you for your continuing support.
