How do we apply?
The Faculty of Advanced Practice are pleased to announce a new electronic application process for preceptorships for physician associates in primary care in North East and North Cumbria (NENC) and Yorkshire and Humber (Y&H) for 2023 -2024.
Please find NEY Physician Associate Primary Care Preceptorship Guidance Document 2023-24 to support applications. Please note these are for applications from 1st April 2023 to 31st March 2024 and invoices must be raised before 31st March 2024, any invoices received after this date will not be accepted for applications in 23/24 – please see guidance document for invoicing processes for NENC and Y&H.

How long is it?
1 year Preceptorship Scheme
Physician Associates (PA’s) are healthcare professionals with a broadly based, integrated medical education, who work alongside hospital doctors, GPs and surgeons providing medical care as part of the multidisciplinary team. PA’s work within a defined scope of practice and limits of competence.
