How do we apply?
Funding for 2024/25 has not yet been confirmed, once any information is released from NHSE we will share out to practices.
For reference, please see below guidance relating to 23/24. If you are/have a PA who started in 23/24 who would like to access the support and isn’t already, please get in touch on hnyicb.traininghub@nhs.net.
Please find NEY Physician Associate Primary Care Preceptorship Guidance Document 2023-24 to support applications. Please note these are for applications from 1st April 2023 to 31st March 2024 and invoices must be raised before 31st March 2024, any invoices received after this date will not be accepted for applications in 23/24 – please see guidance document for invoicing processes for NENC and Y&H.

What’s involved?
Physician Associates (PA’s) are healthcare professionals with a broadly based, integrated medical education, who work alongside hospital doctors, GPs and surgeons providing medical care as part of the multidisciplinary team. PA’s work within a defined scope of practice and limits of competence.
