Free CPD Courses for Health and Care Professionals Supporting People with Parkinson’s

Did you know that Parkinson’s UK offers free Continuing Professional Development (CPD) courses for health and care professionals through the Parkinson’s UK Excellence Network? Our Education team helps professionals enhance their skills and knowledge to improve outcomes for those they support. Learners often tell us how our courses have positively influenced their work — from better managing time-critical medication in care homes to designing exercise sessions tailored to people with Parkinson’s.
We’ve recently made two key improvements to make accessing our learning even easier:
- The Foundation Programme (FP)– a new suite of online courses covering essential topics such as symptoms, medication, and treatments. Developed with input from people living with Parkinson’s, the FP also includes modules on effective communication and guidance on the services, support, and resources available through Parkinson’s UK and the Excellence Network. https://www.parkinsons.org.uk/professionals/foundation-programme
- An upgraded Knowing Parkinson’s (KP) platform– which now makes it simpler to register, navigate, and access all of our CPD resources in one place.
