INVITE - FCP Sharing Best Practice Webinar – 03/12/24 13.00-14.30 – Free - Open to Register

Developing First Contact Practitioner (FCP) roles as part of ARRS has been an area that has rapidly evolved over recent years. In collaboration, Humber and North Yorkshire (HNY) ICB, the HNY Primary Care Workforce and Training Hub, and local primary care colleagues are delighted to be hosting a webinar for HNY PCNs/practices to facilitate sharing of best practice around supporting FCPs and similar roles.

Advanced Practice information session - For individuals/organisations considering ACP training - 20th or 28th Nov

The North East and Yorkshire Faculty for Advancing Practice are hosting two Advanced Practice information sessions. These sessions are aimed at anyone considering an advanced practice role or any advanced practice lead/system lead considering recruiting a trainee advanced practitioner. Information about the NHS England funding offer and supervising a trainee Advanced Practitioner will be discussed with lots of opportunity for questions.

Both sessions will be identical, so you are only required to attend one.

GP Forum CPD Study Days - Free to Access

Please see invitation to attend the next GP Forum primary care CPD study days:

  • Thursday 14th November on the topic of “Musculoskeletal” – Grimsby
  • Wednesday 4th December on the topic of “Contraception & Sexual Health” – Hull

The meetings are free of charge and carry 3 hours CPD points.

Please pass this on to staff in your practice who might be interested in attending the course.

North East and Yorkshire ‘CVDPREVENT Lunch and Learn’ Webinar 07/11/24

The North East and Yorkshire Regional Physical Health and Prevention Clinical Programmes Team would like to invite you to a Lunch and Learn Webinar on the Cardiovascular Disease Prevention Audit (CVDPREVENT).

CVDPREVENT is a national primary care audit that extracts routinely held GP data. The Data and Improvement Tool provides open access to the data, with clear, actionable insights for those tasked with improving cardiovascular health in England (for more information on CVD Prevent please go to the website).

The Lunch and Learn Webinar will take place on Thursday 7th November from 12:00 – 13:00 and will draw on the expertise of the National CVDPREVENT leads who will demonstrate how to use the tool and provide tips on how to use the data to identify and inform improvements.
