Webinar information

By the end of the session, you will be able to:

  1. Define cardiorenal metabolic syndrome and describe its key pathophysiological mechanisms linking cardiovascular, renal, and metabolic systems.
  2. Identify common risk factors, clinical features, and diagnostic criteria associated with cardiorenal metabolic syndrome.
  3. Interpret relevant clinical data (e.g., biomarkers, lab results, imaging) to aid in early recognition and risk stratification of patients.
  4. Describe evidence-based pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic interventions used to manage cardiorenal metabolic syndrome, including newer agents like SGLT2 inhibitors and GLP-1 receptor agonists.
  5. Apply current clinical guidelines and care pathways in case-based scenarios to optimise patient outcomes.
