Course information

3 hour training session delivered by Sarah newton, Nurse Educator for the SY Primary Care Workforce and Training Hub on Infection Prevention Control.

This half-day update training course will help you to understand how infection spreads and how to identify the risks of infection.
To be able to follow safe working practices and to know how to respond to incidents confidently.

Course eligibility

PLEASE NOTE: This is a fully funded training session for Health Care Assistant’s (HCAs) working in Primary Care in South Yorkshire only.

Before applying for this training session, we recommend that HCAs have completed the Care Certificate first.
