Continuing Professional Development Funding Programme for general practice nurses and allied health professionals – running from April 2024 – 31st March 2025.
The Advanced Clinical Practitioner apprenticeship is a 3-year programme funded for General Practice by the apprenticeship levy. NHS England also offer a Clinical Salary Support payment to Practices who support a trainee ACP apprentice.
The Aspiring Practice Managers programme is designed for those in a junior or less senior management position looking to become a Practice Manager, or for new Practice Managers who have recently started working in the role.
GPAs are trained to provide a support role, carrying out administrative tasks with basic clinical duties, helping to free up GP time and contribute to the smooth running of appointments, and improving patients experience.
The Fellowship Programme is designed to ensure there is a place for Fellows to access ongoing support and development as a newly qualified General Practitioner (GP) or General Practice Nurse (GPN).
A funded 1-year General Practice Nurse (GPN) Fellowship specifically aimed at GPNs who have been in a substantial GPN post for 2-years or more.
A 12-month programme, aimed at newly qualified Nurses or new to primary care Nurses, wishing to work in general practice.
The HCA Apprenticeship programme is designed as an educational development route to support HCAs and is delivered in partnership with a local education provider.
