Continuing Professional Development Funding Programme for practice nurses and allied health professionals
The Advanced Clinical Practitioner apprenticeship is a 3-year programme funded for General Practice by the apprenticeship levy. NHS England also offer a Clinical Salary Support payment to Practices who support a trainee ACP apprentice.
The Aspiring Practice Managers programme is designed for those in a junior or less senior management position looking to become a Practice Manager, or for new Practice Managers who have recently started working in the role.
First Contact Physiotherapists have enhanced skills and expertise in the management of Musculoskeletal conditions, enabling adult patients to be seen in their GP practice without being referred by a doctor.

12 month Preceptorship for recently qualified nursing associates working in primary care or nursing associates that have recently transferred from secondary care.
The Training Hub helps to facilitate nursing student placements into General Practice. Placements are funded by NHS England.
Training and development opportunities to support Clinical and Professional Development for the Community Optometry workforce
West Yorkshire Practices or PCNs employing a newly qualified Physician Associate in a substantive role are eligible for enrolment onto the PA Preceptorship.
