Qualified Advanced Practitioner Masterclasses – hosted by Northumbria University
Northumbria University are hosting a suite of masterclasses aimed at Qualified Advanced Practitioners working across multiple specialities within the North East, North Cumbria & Yorkshire region.
These events are free to delegates and are kindly funded by NHS England North East & Yorkshire Regional Advancing Practice Faculty as well as supported by the International Journal of Advancing Practice, the Advanced Practice series – British Journal of Nursing, The Advanced Practitioner textbook series – Wiley-Blackwell Publishing, Mobile Educational Learning Improving Simulation Safety Activities (MELISSA) and g&hCritCareEcho.

Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD) Training
Suitable for advanced practitioners and physician associates in primary care in the north east and north Cumbria
This PAD training is delivered virtually by Matthew Thomas (Consultancy Vascular Surgeon and Clinical Lead in Vascular Surgery at NUTH NHS FT). This is suitable for staff that require initial training or an update in PAD across North East and North Cumbria. This will cover the basics of PAD, risk factors, diagnosis, treatment and annual monitoring.
This course is aimed at General Practice Nurses, Clinical Pharmacists, Paramedics, Physician Associates and GPs.

Rural, remote and costal advanced practice – webinar
Are you an advanced practitioner interested in finding out how you could develop your experience and knowledge of rural, remote, or coastal healthcare?
Do you want to further develop the effective delivery of healthcare for improving the experiences and outcomes of care for patients, carers, and families in rural, remote, and coastal areas?

North East and Yorkshire Allied Health Professions Advancing Practice Conference
NHS England’s Health and Care Professions team have organised and Advanced Practice conference for Allied Health Professionals in the North East and Yorkshire. The event will include a variety of speakers and workshops, and the event is aimed at aspiring AHP advanced practitioners, current AHP advanced practitioners and service/strategic AHP leads.
