Toolkit to promote Social Prescribing

The new communications toolkit promotes the social prescribing link worker (SPLW) role which can be employed through the Additional Roles Reimbursement Scheme (ARRS).

The communications assets developed by the NEY Primary Care Transformation team and a group of social prescribers from the North East and Yorkshire region explain the unique features of this role as a part of the general practice team.

The toolkit includes a poster, an animation with voiceover and closed captions, translated versions, and a short version for social media. It also includes a press release and bulletin content that can be adapted for local use and suggested content for use on social media to help promote and increase understanding around the role.
